SmallRig Cage for Sony Alpha 7R V / 7 IV / 7S III / 1 / 7R IV / 7 V 3667C is expertly designed to provide comprehensive protection and versatile mounting options for your camera. It attaches securely using a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and a side locating block, allowing for anti-deflection fixation without the need to remove the camera’s eyelet triangles. Built-in pads offer all-around protection and prevent scratches.
Precision cutouts ensure unobstructed access to camera ports, dials, buttons, and the battery compartment. Additionally, a hinged arm at the battery compartment enhances grip by providing extra support for the little finger.
The cage incorporates multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a “HawkLock” NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories like side handles (ID 4485) and top handles (ID 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount allows for attaching devices like the DJI Mic 2 or lights, while a QD socket at the base accommodates shoulder straps for enhanced portability. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench, facilitating quick assembly and disassembly.
The bottom quick release plate, paired with the “HawkLock” H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID 4486), allows for rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate enables seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 4 Mini stabilizers).
IMPORTANT
1. This cage is compatible with the HDMI cable clamps included in cage kits (ID 4538, 4539) but is not compatible with the HDMI cable clamp (ID 3000) from cage kits (ID 3668B, 3669C).
2. The cage can be attached directly to the camera without the need to remove the eyelet triangles.
