SmallRig Cage Kit for Sony ZV-E1 4257B is designed to offer versatile mounting options while protecting both the camera body and HDMI interface. This kit includes a cage with an integrated silicone grip and an HDMI cable clamp.
The cage features a three-point locking system, using a 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two locating blocks—one on each side—to ensure stability. Its built-in ergonomic silicone handle significantly enhances grip comfort during operation.
The included HDMI cable clamp attaches to the left side of the cage with a 1/4"-20 thumbscrew and two anti-twist locating pins, allowing for tool-free installation and secure cable connection. This design effectively protects the camera's HDMI port, ensuring stable data transmission.
The cage offers extensive expansion options, including multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes for attaching accessories such as top handles (ID 3765) or side handles (ID 2913) to improve handheld shooting stability. The top ARRI locating hole facilitates monitor mounting via compatible monitor mounts (ID 2903B). Dual cold shoe mounts allow for the attachment of microphones (compatible with DJI MIC 2), lights, and more, while the bottom QD socket supports attaching QD shoulder straps. Additionally, strap slots on both sides and the bottom accommodate wrist straps (ID 3848) and shoulder straps (ID 5208).
The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate enables seamless transitions between tripods and gimbals (compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro). A magnetic Allen wrench on the base facilitates effortless assembly and disassembly.
IMPORTANT
With the cage installed, both the camera’s hot shoe and the cage’s cold shoe remain compatible with the DJI Mic 2.
