SmallRig Advanced Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7R VI 6704 is expertly crafted to improve handheld shooting experience while offering robust camera protection and versatile mounting options. This kit includes a cage, a cold shoe support, a clamp for HDMI cable, a side handle, and a top handle. The side handle features silicone cushioning for comfortable and stable handling, while the top handle facilitates smooth camera movement for effortless low-angle shots.
The cage utilizes a four-point locking system for secure mounting without deflection. Built-in pads offer comprehensive protection and prevent scratches, while precision cutouts provide unobstructed access to camera ports, dials, buttons, and the battery compartment.
Multiple mounting points are incorporated, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories like side handles (ID 4485) and top handles (ID 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount allows for attaching microphones, LED lights, and other devices. The bottom Arca-Swiss plate, paired with the HawkLock quick-release base (ID 4486), enables one-press self-locking for smooth, efficient installation and removal. A QD socket at the base accommodates QD shoulder straps. A built-in magnetic hex key is included for convenient disassembly.
The bottom Arca-Swiss quick release plate is compatible with Arca-Swiss tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 5 gimbals, enabling seamless switching between handheld, gimbal, and tripod shooting modes. Furthermore, a hinged door at the battery compartment adds grip support for the little finger, while the included clamp for HDMI cable secures the cable for stable data transmission.
IMPORTANT
1. After fastening the base 1/4"-20 screw, remove the anti-twist locating pins from the storage hole at the battery compartment and secure them in the designated position.
2. Before installing the clamp for HDMI cable, open the camera's HDMI port cover.
