SmallRig Dummy Battery Power Cable for D-Tap for Nikon EN-EL15c 6537 is designed for long video recording, livestreaming, and other extended shooting scenarios, and is easy to install and use. By connecting to an external power source, such as a V-mount battery, through the D-Tap interface, it provides continuous power to the camera, reducing the need for frequent battery changes.
A built-in smart display screen shows input voltage and power status in real time. When the voltage is above 13.0V, the green indicator stays on to show sufficient power. When the voltage drops below 13.0V, the red indicator provides a low-power warning. If the D-Tap connector is inserted in reverse, no voltage will be displayed, and reverse-connection protection will be triggered. Reconnect the cable in the correct direction to restore normal operation.
Featuring an upgraded chip, it delivers seamless camera compatibility without warning messages. The dummy battery is molded to the dimensions of the original battery for smooth installation and removal. It also includes multiple safety protections, including overvoltage, overheat, overcharge, and short-circuit protection, and features a flame-retardant ABS housing for safe, reliable long-term use.
